Nina Skaya
Principal

I love HR. Whether you call it Human Resources, People Operations, Talent Management, People & Culture or Talent & Retention, it’s the same mix of compliance, psychology, communication, and compassion that is at the core of every organization.

I bring over 20 years of Human Resources experience to my work. My experience covers the broad range of all HR functions from recruiting and retention to offboarding. My personal specialities are employee benefits and leave of absence management.

For six years, I served as the Benefits Manager for Legal Services Corporation, the nation’s largest funder of civil legal aid programs for people in poverty. Previously, I worked at the investment management firm Bridgewater Associates, as an employee and later as a consultant to the benefits team. I started my HR career at the investment management firm D.E. Shaw & Co. where I worked for the founder and CEO, David E. Shaw.

I hold a bachelor’s of arts in philosophy from Princeton University and a master’s of music performance from the University of Michigan.

I live in Connecticut and I am available to travel to clients when needed.

Arthur Beckman
Research and Communications Specialist

Arthur brings over 20 years of experience in corporate communications and social science research to the firm. He has held senior positions at leading marketing communications firms including McCann Health, DDB, Harrison and Star, Rosetta/Razorfish Health, and Stein IAS.

Arthur’s background includes 15 years of experience teaching political science, research methods, and marketing strategy. He has held positions at the George Washington University, New York University, and The City University of New York.

He holds Ph.D. and M.A. degrees in political science from The Graduate Center, The City University of New York, and a B.F.A. from the Rhode Island School of Design.
